March(ito) wrap up!*

Hi guys, this are the books I read in March and well, they are four, yeah... not a good month, maybe is was a break from reading so much before??? idk. BUT I have to say that there were some goooood books

The first book I read was a re-read but a pretty old one, I read this book when I first got into
reading and well, I loved it because it was different, but now I'm older and wiser (not) so yeah, btw the book is "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" lol, such a mystery there.

But yeah, when I first read this book I didn't understand it well, I even remember being confused about Charlie and his aunt. Now, I'm at college studying psychology so yeah, a big change in my point of view, actually it was a pretty interesting read so I would recommend it to people who want a mental health book.

Upon re-read, I gave it 3 stars but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoyed it (which is a theme throu this wrap-up lol)

Next up, I read "Little Fires Everywhere" and OMG I LOVE IT WOW. It is the first book I read by Celeste Ng and when I started it I was confused as to why it was having so much hype and well, now I know.

Here we have the typical perfect town with the perfect families until a new family moves to the neighbourhood and start provoquing some changes.

I really loved this book, it was really eye-opening, Celeste wrote this stories so good that I was stressed for this characters, I felt petty, shame, sadness, etc. and I really got to give it to Celeste, she wrote this story in the right way and it was perfect and pretty realistic.

Obviously I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

After I finished this book I read "The  Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls and wow, this was her autobiography and well, I gave it 3 stars, maybe more of a 2.5 but hear me out! The things Walls had to go through were shocking, really I was so angry at her parents and sometimes at her as well, and then thinking that this really happened was worse omg.

With this in mind I got to say it was a really slow book, sometimes it was hard
to pick up and keep reading but I pushed though, so yeah I did not enjoyed it so much.

The final read was also a rough one, I read "Columbine" by Dave Cullen. As a foreign person I never knew how this had happened and what where the repercussions for american kids and schools after the Columbine massacre.

This was an informative book, it was redundant at times and a bit larger for my taste, Cullen really could chop about a hundred pages and the impact would still be the same. Also there were things I am not so sure really happened that way, but well, is a good book to start understanding what happened that April 20. I gave it 3 stars.

And yes guys, that's it, some real, hard books this month. See ya next month (which is going great so far)!

*also did somebody get the pun on my title?!!? ((;
