May TBR / Bout of Books 19 sign up!

May TBR.

To start off May, I'll be finishing the books I started reading in April and didn't complete, which are: Throne of Glass, The Couple Next Door, Juliet takes a Breath and Zac & Mia. I'm already about a hundred pages in in each book so I think I'll finish them real quick!

Bout of Books

So here I am again trying another readathon (pls someone help me), this time I'll be participating in "Bout of Books". 

 If you don't know what the readathon it's about let me tell you:
"The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 8th and runs through Sunday, May 14th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. My TBR for this read-a-thon will only consist of two books, because sadly in this dates I'll be studying for finals! So I'm planning to read: "The Wrath and the Dawn" by Renee Ahdieh and "Symptoms of being human" by Jeff Garvin.

Turtles All the Way Down by John Green My rating: 4 of 5 stars   (or more of a 3.5 shhh) "But you give your thoughts too much power, Aza. Thoughts are only thoughts. They are not you. You do belong to yourself, even when your thoughts don't" My hopes for this book weren't (at all) high and well, this really didn't amazed me that much but it was a good read; what really got to me was the anxiety rep. So here we have Aza, who's our main character and is going through life with OCD and anxiety and suddenly she finds herself with her bestfriend trying to solve a mystery of a person dissapearing and she reconnects with a guy from her past, and really sums up the book. Something I got to point out was the "mystery", I kind of enjoy John Green's books but I think he repeated himself here and went for the same thing as in "Paper Towns" and that did not set well with me, I'm just tired of that narrative; honestly the &q

A YEAR-A-THON TBR

A Year-a-thon it's a series of readathons that happen throughout the year each one with a theme. This month's theme is: "Classics" and it's happening from April 3 - 9. As there is so little time I'm making my TBR as short as possible so this time I'm planning to read, first, " Lolita " which it's gonna be my priority, and then if I have time I'm planning to read " A Clockwork Orange ".  Links: Goodreads group: #AYEARATHON Twitter: @AYearAThon

March(ito) wrap up!*

Hi guys, this are the books I read in March and well, they are four, yeah... not a good month, maybe is was a break from reading so much before??? idk. BUT I have to say that there were some goooood books  The first book I read was a re-read but a pretty old one, I read this book when I first got into reading and well, I loved it because it was different, but now I'm older and wiser (not) so yeah, btw the book is " The Perks of Being a Wallflower " lol, such a mystery there.  But yeah, when I first read this book I didn't understand it well, I even remember being confused about Charlie and his aunt. Now, I'm at college studying psychology so yeah, a big change in my point of view, actually it was a pretty interesting read so I would recommend it to people who want a mental health book. Upon re-read, I gave it 3 stars but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoyed it (which is a theme throu this wrap-up lol) Next up, I read " Little F
