March(ito) wrap up!*

Imagen
Hi guys, this are the books I read in March and well, they are four, yeah... not a good month, maybe is was a break from reading so much before??? idk. BUT I have to say that there were some goooood books  The first book I read was a re-read but a pretty old one, I read this book when I first got into reading and well, I loved it because it was different, but now I'm older and wiser (not) so yeah, btw the book is " The Perks of Being a Wallflower " lol, such a mystery there.  But yeah, when I first read this book I didn't understand it well, I even remember being confused about Charlie and his aunt. Now, I'm at college studying psychology so yeah, a big change in my point of view, actually it was a pretty interesting read so I would recommend it to people who want a mental health book. Upon re-read, I gave it 3 stars but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoyed it (which is a theme throu this wrap-up lol) Next up, I read " Little F

Qué leeré en Abril!

Hi!! I'm here to share with you my TBR for the month of April, I don't really have any plans of participating on a read-a-thon so all the books are gonna focus on my "Around the Year in 52 books" and maybe my POP SUGAR challenge. April TBR. A book I really, really want to get to this month is " Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda " (yes again) by the lovely Becky Albertalli <3. Then maybe I'll pick up " And Then There Where None " by Agatha Christie, which is also a book I'm really interested in. Currently I'm reading " Wicked Like a Wildfire " by Lana Popovic and " I'd Tell You I Love You, but then I'd Have to Kill You " by Ally Carter, so those are on my TBR as well. If I finish all of this maybe I'll pick "Ready Player One", just to watch the movie later and compare them. But yeah, those are my plans right now! Wish you all a happy reading month! and tell me, are you parti

Get it? Because it was february, the month of love??? yeah?? ok, I'll leave. But YES! Here is my last month wrap-up, as always late <3  I read 8 books which seven of them could count towards my AYi52B challenge and 3 for the Pop Sugar Challenge. So let's start! The first book I read was "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold, here we have the story of Susie Salmon when she is murdered and how that affected her family; I gave this book two out of five stars and well you can see I didn't like it that much, being honest I liked the movie better lol. Most of the time I wanted to quit this read, it was slow and pointless honestly, I liked when it would show the repercussions of Susie's death on the family, but since the book is narrated by Susie, when she talked about something else I was completly bored. So yeah, wouldn't recommend the read. Next I picked up "Hidden Figures" by Margot Lee Shetterly, and oppose to my previous read

Hey! Hi! So by now I completly ruined my goal of posting once a week bUT well what can i do? during this little break i got an instagram account (if you would like to follow me here it is thank u <3) BUT what we are here for it's my January wrap-up; I started this year reading 10 books, 7 of them counted towards my "ATYin52" challenge and six for the Pop Sugar Reading Challenge. So here we go! My first read was "Murder in the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie. Here we are following Poirot who is a detective (if i'm remembering correctly) and meanwhile he's on the Orient Express (dah) someone gets murdered so he starts to investigate who could have done it.  Wow, this was my first time reading something by Agatha Christie and I got to say I'm in love, I want to read every book by her now. Christie has a way with words where she immediatly grabs your attention and you want to know what really happened.  It was a 5 out 5 stars read, simp

February TBR and readathons!

A lovely TBR💚 Hi guys! I'm bak again with another TBR and what better way to restart posting than in my favorite month; i love how February is so short and yet filled with so much love (btw on the 20th is my birthday🎉) so let's got straight to my TBR. (btw i know some books are in spanish but that is because i do read them in spanish lol) For my "AtYin52" I would have to read four books this month and the ones I'm going for are: Talentos Ocultos  by Margot Lee Shetterly, Lo que dejó tu adiós by Rodolfo Naró, The Hate U Give by  Angie Thomas and either The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold or The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. If I manage to finish those books some books I would like to read this month are: The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon, since I always read a Nicola book in my birth month🤗, thoughout the month I hope to pick up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire . Read-a-thons📖 Break your TBR apart. From Ja

Turtles All the Way Down Review

Turtles All the Way Down by John Green My rating: 4 of 5 stars   (or more of a 3.5 shhh) "But you give your thoughts too much power, Aza. Thoughts are only thoughts. They are not you. You do belong to yourself, even when your thoughts don't" My hopes for this book weren't (at all) high and well, this really didn't amazed me that much but it was a good read; what really got to me was the anxiety rep. So here we have Aza, who's our main character and is going through life with OCD and anxiety and suddenly she finds herself with her bestfriend trying to solve a mystery of a person dissapearing and she reconnects with a guy from her past, and really sums up the book. Something I got to point out was the "mystery", I kind of enjoy John Green's books but I think he repeated himself here and went for the same thing as in "Paper Towns" and that did not set well with me, I'm just tired of that narrative; honestly the &q
